The Sky-owned broadband ISP and UK video streaming provider, NOW TV, has today finally added the popular SyFy TV channel to their platform. The new channel is available to those who include an ‘Entertainment Pass‘ for £7.99 per month into their monthly subscription.
The move may also help to placate some of those that were left to feel frustrated after NOW TV bumped up the monthly price of their Entertainment Pass by +£1 in July 2017 (here). Customers who take the pass also gain access to many of Sky’s most popular TV channels (e.g. Sky Atlantic, FOX, Sky One, MTV, Sky Living, Sky Arts, Gold, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, Nat Geo WILD, ITV Encore, ABC and 250 Box Sets on demand).
As usual you don’t need to take NOW TV’s own Combo broadband and phone bundles in order to use the video streaming service, which is based off Roku’s set-top-box kit. The service will work on any broadband connection, provided you can receive a download speed of at least 2.5Mbps (Megabits per second).
