Broadband ISP Hyperoptic, which is deploying a new gigabit-capable full fibre network across parts of 43 UK towns and cities, has launched an additional support function for new business customers. Each customer will now be assigned a named advisor so that they receive a more personal service and timely updates on their installations.
The ‘Dedicated Business Care‘ feature, which broadly aims to help shorten the order to activation rate for customers, will initially launch in London. After that the operator plans to roll out the new feature across the rest of their UK network during 2022.
Hyperoptic’s business broadband packages tend to offer symmetrical speeds of up to 1Gbps, albeit rising up to 10Gbps for leased line services. All of their business customers also receive the new dual-band Nokia Hyperhub router, as standard.
Charles Davies, Hyperoptic’s MD, said:
“We have worked hard to ensure that our business proposition is one of the most compelling on the market today – across speed, functionality and price. We understand that reliable and fast connectivity is just non-negotiable for businesses, which is why provide them as standard via our full fibre network. Today we are pleased to go beyond the expected with the launch of dedicated teams that will enhance the installation experience and ensure that our business customers get first-class customer service.”
Prices for their regular business broadband packages currently start at £55 per month – plus £100 one-off activation – on a 24-month term (£100 thereafter) for a 150Mbps connection, which also includes a next workday Service Level Agreement (SLA) and static IP address. An optional 12-month or 30-day contract option is also available, at extra cost.
