The Independent Networks Co-operative Association (INCA) has announced the list of winners from their 2022 Gold Awards event, which aims to recognise and celebrate the best alternative broadband networks (altnets) and ISPs from across the United Kingdom. Some providers, such as B4RN, picked up several awards.
As usual, the winners were all decided by a panel of five independent industry judges (here).
The awards were then handed down last night at a ceremony in Liverpool, which forms part of INCA’s Annual Conference.

Congratulations to all, Altnets rock. Who got the #internethero award this year, anyone know?
The ISPA one? That’s next week https://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.php/2022/11/ispa-uk-reveals-shortlist-for-2022-internet-hero-award.html
Well done to all mentioned, Keep it rolling Altnets..
I can feel the worm is beginning to turn in the UK ISP Market, Competition is healthy and helps maintain pressure on the incumbents to be drive both innovation and increased connectivity for all. Personally, I cant wait to see my exchange [SWLJ] classification change to “Market A” as the list of ISPs (“ALTERNATIVE ISP”) available for service in my area grows
Is it yet another branch contest or they keep repeating awarding for every two or three months?
